It is crucial to distinguish between the two, as one can often be fixed while the other is permanent.
- 🔴 Stuck Pixel: A pixel “frozen” on a color (Red, Green, Blue). Transistor is stuck “ON”. Often Fixable by flashing colors.
- ⚫ Dead Pixel: A black spot on a white background. Transistor is dead. Usually Permanent (requires screen replacement).
